Good brand for french press coffee maker?

I’m trying to get a french press for my boyfriend off amazon, and i know bodum is a good brand, but they don’t ship their products to canada. does anyone know of a good brand for french presses? i found a trudeau for a reasonable price (no customer reviews on amazon) and one with no brand being sold by coffeeAM (2 good reviews).
what do you suggest? any help is welcome

Trudeau has a nice line.
I use to handle all there products in the USA.
But it depends on how much you want to spend.
WMF is considered the top of the line but they’re super expensive.
I would go with Trudeau and they are based in Canada.

This is the bomb.
See if they ship to Canada
( I believe all WMF products are guarenteed for life).
Actually, they have a really good price on this.

DeLonghi seems to be OK, but there will be some consistency issues and I’ve heard of reliability problems with the lower priced models.

I’m not a fan of cheap espresso machines (I think a stove top Moka pot is better & still cheap), but it should be good for your first purchase. Just avoid the under $ 150 models (good starts much higher). One problem is that they can’t build up enough heat storage to brew & then steam milk. You will have to wait a while for it to reheat after brewing, so it’s really not great for cappuccinos or lattes.

I bought the DeLonghi BCO 120T with coffee maker and Espresso Machine and I was wondering if this is a good buy? I was wondering how this one compares with the more expensive models? I know DeLonghi is Italian and they make good machines. I got it for $ 80 dollars. Any Experiences with Espresso machines?

I have a DeLonghi Magnifica 3300 espresso machine and it’s WONDERFUL! In fact, it’s rate the highest of all espresso machines (even other DeLonghis which cost more)….BUT, mine retails for closer to $ 1500, so I’m not sure about the quality of the cheaper ones
