The new Tasimo coffee maker is the best. You can actually buy the Starbucks brand coffee cups to use in the Tasimo coffee maker. Its cheaper than going to Starbucks. Walmart sells the coffee dics in the coffee and tea isle

I am a coffee lover but the price of drinks are ridiculous. So me and my cousin decided were going to buy an espresso machine and start experimenting with some drink combinations. Since ive never owned one before im not really sure what i should look for in one. We’re going for the more economic options since we cant dish out $ 300 right now. So ive found a couple decent options in my opinion (the cheapest ones). So which one would be the better value?

DeLonghi has more of a rep, however you would probably do better with warranty and replacement items with Mr. Coffee.

I hear what your saying — I haven’t bought a nice cup for a while now. Not even a DD.

That is such a difficult question. It depends why you are buying it. If it is for espresso rather than milk based (latte, cappuccino) then I would recommend looking at a MyPressi TWIST or an aeropress which are much cheaper and arguably make better coffee, and using the left over cash to get a decent grinder. A grinder is at least as important as the machine.

Either of the machines you looked at should be an ok allround espresso machine. They wont compete with a properly maintained shop machine that costs thousands, but that isnt the point, it will allow the user to make a reasonable coffee in their own home for a fraction of the cost of a starbucks.
